Basketball Game Preview: Bear River Bears vs. West Field Longhorns

The Bear River Bears will head out to take on the West Field Longhorns at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bear River has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 180 points over their last three matchups.

Last Wednesday, Bear River was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-55 to Ridgeline.

Meanwhile, West Field came up short against Green Canyon on Friday, falling 63-41. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 71st, while the Wolves are ranked 12th).

West Field has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Bear River, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.

Bear River came up short against West Field in their previous matchup two weeks ago, falling 62-53. Can Bear River avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
