Basketball Recap: Gabrielino Eagles vs. Temple City Rams
Gabrielino had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 64-36 loss at the hands of the Temple City Rams. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since December 28, 2023.
Temple City was led to victory by Dylan Lam and Brayden Kwan. Lam went 6 for 9 en route to 17 points plus eight rebounds and three blocks, while Kwan went 6 for 9 en route to 13 points plus four steals. What's more, Kwan also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Mason Collins, who earned eight points along with nine rebounds.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
