Baseball Recap: DeLaSalle Takes a Loss

DeLaSalle fell victim to Academy of Holy Angels and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 11-0 to the Stars. The Islanders have struggled against the Stars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

DeLaSalle's record now sits at 4-7. As for Academy of Holy Angels, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. DeLaSalle will square off against rival Fridley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Academy of Holy Angels is set to challenge their familiar foe Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Stars 2.2, the Pirates 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
