Lake Braddock took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Thursday. They breezed past the Alexandria City Titans to the tune of 32-0. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Payton Holmes had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyrone Jackson, who threw for 120 yards and one TD.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Braddock will face off against James Madison at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. As for Alexandria City, they will square off against Non Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th.
