Football Recap: Tri County Northeast Takes a Loss

Tri County Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Wisner-Pilger Gators 58-8. The Wolfpack lost against the Gators in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 36-22 score last time.

Tri County Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Wisner-Pilger, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Tri County Northeast will be playing at home against Wakefield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolfpack will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will head out to face off against Homer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
