Football Game Preview: Beverly Hills Normans vs. Hawthorne Cougars

Beverly Hills is 0-9 against Hawthorne since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Normans will take on the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Beverly Hills has given up an average of 48 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Beverly Hills' offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against West on Friday. They were dealt a 50-0 defeat at the hands of the Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Normans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 1013th, while the Warriors are ranked 434th).

Meanwhile, Hawthorne had to suffer through a 42-6 loss at the hands of West.

Hawthorne's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Beverly Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Things could have been worse for Beverly Hills, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 43-24 loss to Hawthorne when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Normans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
