Basketball Recap: Linden Takes a Loss

Linden fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Flushing on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Flushing Raiders by a score of 37-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since December 10, 2024.

Linden's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Flushing, they pushed their record up to 12-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Linden will face off against Kearsley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Flushing, they are taking a road trip to take on Hamady at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
