Recap: Willamina Bulldogs vs. Regis Rams
The Willamina Bulldogs lost against the Regis Rams back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Willamina suffered a tough 48-22 defeat at the hands of Regis. It was the first time this season that Willamina let down their fans at home.
Despite the loss, Willamina still got an impressive performance from Jacob Hadley, who rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns. Hadley is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Connor Gustin, who rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
Willamina's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Regis, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Willamina will take on Sheridan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sheridan comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Regis, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Santiam at 7:00 p.m. Santiam is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
