Basketball Recap: Raymondville Bearkats vs. Santa Rosa Warriors
Raymondville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 67-63 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santa Rosa Warriors. The Bearkats lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in December of 2019, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 110-45 score last time.
Despite the loss, Raymondville still got an impressive performance from Colt Cavazos, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Cavazos is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.
