Lincoln entered their tilt with Jefferson on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Democrats by a score of 4-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 11-1 on Tuesday.

Lincoln's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-12. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-13.
