Soccer Recap: Polytech Comes Up Short

Polytech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to the Cape Henlopen Vikings. While losing is never fun, Polytech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Delaware soccer rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while Cape Henlopen are ranked fourth).

Polytech's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cape Henlopen, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Polytech will face off against Woodbridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cape Henlopen, they will square off against Brandywine at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
