Oswego had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Plainfield East Bengals by a score of 2-0. The Panthers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Bengals, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.
Oswego easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.
Peter Barnes paced Oswego's offense, picking up seven kills. Barnes got some help from Greyson Covay and his 18 assists.
Oswego's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-9. As for Plainfield East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-15.
