After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Homestead, Elkhart was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 52-26 margin over the Mishawaka Marian Knights. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Mishawaka Marian saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kariya Byer dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. Byer has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times she's played.

Elkhart is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points per game.
