Basketball Recap: Shreveport HomeSchool Sports Takes a Loss

Shreveport HomeSchool Sports lost against Bishop Noland Episcopal Day back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Shreveport HomeSchool Sports Force fell to the Bishop Noland Episcopal Day Eagles 46-41.

Bishop Noland Episcopal Day's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Roy Washington, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 13 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Washington is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Buckhalter, who posted 12 points.

Shreveport HomeSchool Sports' loss dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Shreveport HomeSchool Sports will head out to square off against Acadiana Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Noland Episcopal Day, they will welcome Lake Area HomeSchool Sports at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Noland Episcopal Day is facing Lake Area HomeSchool Sports at the right time seeing as Lake Area HomeSchool Sports is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
