Softball Recap: Franklin County Bulldogs vs. Brookhaven Panthers

Franklin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Brookhaven Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 22-5 two weeks ago.

Franklin County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Katherine Romero, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Brookhaven, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Franklin County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-4 victory against Tylertown on the 3rd. As for Brookhaven, they have also already played their next matchup, an 8-4 loss against Pearl on the 1st.
