Watertown had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They never let the Yankton Bucks/Gazelles get on the board and left with a 7-0 win. Fans of Watertown have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

Watertown's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Yankton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Watertown is set to face off against their familiar foe Tea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Yankton will square off against rival Pierre T.F. Riggs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Yankton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
