Dakota had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They never let the Chippewa Valley Big Reds get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Dakota were the better team in the second half.

Dakota now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Chippewa Valley, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4-6.

As of now, neither Dakota nor the Big Reds have any future games scheduled.
