Football Recap: Alden Piles Up the Points Against Cleveland Hill

Alden's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They breezed past the Cleveland Hill Golden Eagles to the tune of 49-6. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their 12-point performance the game before.

Alden's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Cleveland Hill, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alden is set to challenge their familiar foe Barker/Royalton-Hartland on Friday. Meanwhile, Cleveland Hill will square off against rival Medina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
