Jaxon Ramey Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Indian Creek got the W thanks in part to Jaxon Ramey playing the best football he has all season. Ramey picked up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending three passes.

The victory was the third in a row for Indian Creek, bringing their record for this year to 4-4. Ramey's next match is against Northview on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

If history really does repeat itself, Huff might just drop another big game when he faces off against West Vigo on Friday. When Huff last faced the Vikings back in October of 2023, he rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.

Perry Made His Presence Known in Northview's 41-7 Victory

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Avery Perry stepped things up a notch to give Northview the 'W'. Perry was unstoppable, picking up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 31 yards and a touchdown.

For the year, Perry has caught 9 touchdowns while averaging 60.6 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one receiving touchdown.

Edgewood had to settle for second on Friday, but Braxton Carpenter sure wasn't going down easily. Carpenter turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 56 yards.
