Montgomery was the 43-42 winner over Buckeye when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Montgomery Tigers fell 47-36 to the Buckeye Panthers on Tuesday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Montgomery's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Buckeye, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
