Softball Recap: George County Beats Stone for Their Seventh Straight Win

George County put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Stone Tomcats a 10-0 shutout. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Rebels this season.

George County got a great performance from Addison Davis as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Davis has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Aryana Dixon, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Collins, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
