Volleyball Recap: Annandale Wins Going Away Against Mount Vernon + How To Watch

Annandale's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Mount Vernon Majors as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Atoms haven't had any issues with the Majors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Anthony Nguyen had a dynamite game, getting nine digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (eight). Ryan Do was another key player, getting nine digs and four assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Annandale was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matchups.

Annandale's record is now 4-11. As for Mount Vernon, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
