Softball Recap: Clyde-Savannah Comes Up Short

Lyons hit Clyde-Savannah with a four-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Golden Eagles lost 13-1 to the Lions. If the Golden Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 22-3 to the Lions when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Clyde-Savannah saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Drahms, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Drahms has hit this season.

Clyde-Savannah's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Lyons, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Coming up, Clyde-Savannah will face off against Sodus at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lyons, they will host Finney at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
