Soccer Preview: White County Meets Upperman

The White County Warriors will take on the Upperman Bees at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with seven consecutive losses for White County and three for Upperman.

White County managed to keep up with Stone Memorial until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors came up short against the Panthers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, White County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Stone Memorial are ranked 103rd).

Meanwhile, Upperman fell victim to Cumberland County and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Jets.

White County's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Upperman, they have now lost four of their last five games at home. That's taken a bite out of their 2-7-2 record this season.
