Baseball Recap: Lake Mary Takes a Loss

Lake Mary and Winter Park squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Lake Mary had to settle for second. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 15-2. The Rams haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Ben Thayer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one double.

Lake Mary's loss dropped their record down to 15-15. As for Winter Park, their win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-4.

As of now, neither Lake Mary nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
