While Beaver's victory against Grand County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Beavers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Red Devils 53-50. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Grand County's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Mason, who posted 15 points. The game was Mason's fourth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin McFarland, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 11 points and seven rebounds.

Beaver now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Grand County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

Beaver has already played their next matchup, a 63-43 defeat against San Juan on the 31st. As for Grand County, they will host South Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.91 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
