Volleyball Recap: Clayton Takes a Loss

Clayton and D.H. Conley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Clayton had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Vikings.

While Clayton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into D.H. Conley's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-13.

Leading D.H. Conley to victory were Paige Money and Faith Mitchum. Money had nine digs and five assists, while Mitchum had three aces. That's the most aces Mitchum has posted since back in September.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for D.H. Conley, they pushed their record up to 23-2 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home.

Clayton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for D.H. Conley, they will welcome South Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
