Veritas School waltzed into their contest on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They put the hurt on the Trinity Episcopal Titans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Lions not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 22nd (when they won 3-0).

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-17, 27-25.

Veritas School's win bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Trinity Episcopal, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Veritas School will head out to face off against Richmond Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Episcopal, they will venture away from home to challenge Saint Gertrude at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
