Menominee and Iron Mountain are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Menominee Maroons will square off against the Iron Mountain Mountaineers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Menominee came out on top against Munising by a score of 46-38 on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Maroons.

Meanwhile, Iron Mountain came tearing into Wednesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Modeltowners to the tune of 59-26. The Mountaineers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 games by 23 points or more this season.

Menominee now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Iron Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 20-3.

Menominee lost to Iron Mountain on the road by a decisive 64-48 margin in their previous matchup on February 3rd. Can Menominee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
