Basketball Recap: Southridge Piles Up the Points Against Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart

There's no place like home for Southridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They breezed by the Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart Cyclones to the tune of 76-16 on Friday. That 60 point margin sets a new team best for the Spartans this season.

Southridge got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Naya Hardisson out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten assists. The game was Hardisson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dianka Hardisson, who went 8 of 12 en route to 24 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Southridge now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-7.

When Southridge and Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Southridge will try to stop Palmetto's three-game winning streak when the meet at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart will challenge Ferguson and their four-game winning streak at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
