Volleyball Recap: Laguna Creek Victorious

Laguna Creek picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Menlo-Atherton Bears by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Laguna Creek can attribute much of their success to Justin Purba, who had 17 digs. Purba is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last five games he's played.

Laguna Creek's victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Menlo-Atherton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 19-5.

Laguna Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Folsom on the 29th. As for Menlo-Atherton, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Ripon Christian on the 29th.
