Baseball Recap: Fletcher Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Fletcher can now relate to. They fell just short of the Mandarin Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Senators couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fletcher saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Nevin, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple.

The loss snapped Fletcher's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-16 record. As for Mandarin, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-12 record this season.
