Baseball Recap: South Carroll Comes Up Short

South Carroll's last matchup with Liberty could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Cavaliers lost 12-2 to the Lions. The game marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

South Carroll saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nate Houston, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

South Carroll dropped their record down to 2-4 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Liberty, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

South Carroll didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-4 victory against Francis Scott Key on the 4th. As for Liberty, they will take on Westminster at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
