Softball Recap: Paramount Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Paramount lost against Legacy back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Paramount Pirates fell just short of the Legacy Tigers by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Paramount's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Legacy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Coming up, Paramount will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Ocean View at 3:15 p.m. As for Legacy, they will take on Northview in a tournament on Saturday. Legacy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.
