Volleyball Recap: Sierra Vista's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Sierra Vista waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Green Valley Gators. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mountain Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Kenna Key paced Sierra Vista's offense, picking up five kills. Key got some help from Lyla Sneek and her 19 assists. Finally, Sienna Rhein kept Sierra Vista's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Sierra Vista's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Green Valley, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.

Sierra Vista wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Desert Oasis on the 16th. As for Green Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Shadow Ridge on the 16th.
