Softball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

Orange lost to Perry back in April of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions lost 21-2 to the Pirates. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Orange saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Payton Munk, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Orange now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Perry, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Orange will square off against rival Hawken at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Perry is set to take on their familiar foe West Geauga at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
