Softball Recap: Hart County Comes Up Short

Hart County's last matchup with North Hardin could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Raiders lost 12-2 to the Trojans. The loss continues a trend for the Raiders in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost seven in a row.

Rayleigh Moon was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hart County's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13. As for North Hardin, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-10.

Looking ahead, Hart County is taking a road trip to challenge Caverna at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Colonels have averaged an impressive 7.4 runs per game this season. As for North Hardin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Nelson County at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
