Basketball Recap: Coastal Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Eight

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Luis Obispo, Coastal Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Maricopa Indians by a score of 34-25. The 34-point effort marked the Conquerors' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Maricopa lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Michael Grysko, who posted eight points and 17 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Diego Rivera, who earned four points and 13 rebounds.

Coastal Christian's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-12. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Maricopa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.
