Baseball Recap: Dripping Springs Comes Up Short

Dripping Springs and Pharr-San Juan-Alamo squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Dripping Springs had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 6-4. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bears earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

The victory made it two in a row for Dripping Springs and bumps their season record up to 28-10. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 32-5-1.

As of now, neither Dripping Springs nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
