Charlottesville had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 46.1 points) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Friday. They strolled past the Albemarle Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 58-40. Given the Black Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Patriots are ranked 176th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Charlottesville pushed their record up to 20-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points over those games. As for Albemarle, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Looking ahead, Charlottesville will square off against Fluvanna County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Albemarle, they will face off against Goochland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
