Peetz skates past Fleming with ease

Recap: Peetz Bulldogs vs. Fleming Wildcats

In what's become a running theme this season, the Peetz Bulldogs gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Fleming 70-43 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-9.

Peetz got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rhyder Bayne out in front who scored 15 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Schumacher, who scored five points along with five assists and five steals.

When it comes to explaining why Fleming lost, one person who can't be blamed is David Betley. Despite the final result, he scored 12 points along with five rebounds.

Peetz pushed their record up to 9-2 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Fleming, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Peetz's road trip will continue as they head out to face Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Fleming, they will challenge Merino at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Merino is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
