Football Recap: Moorestown Comes Up Short

Moorestown suffered their biggest defeat since September 20, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the Seneca Golden Eagles 35-0. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 187th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 38th).

This is the second loss in a row for Moorestown and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Seneca, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Moorestown has already played their next match, a 35-7 loss against Northern Burlington on the 12th. As for Seneca, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 32-6 victory against Pleasantville on the 12th.
