Basketball Recap: Susquehanna Valley Comes Up Short

Susquehanna Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a hard 56-40 fall against the Chenango Forks Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-30 two weeks ago.

Ethan Vaseleck was a one-man wrecking crew for Chenango Forks as he went 6-for-11 on his way to 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and three blocks. Nate Raab was another key player, putting up 12 points and seven boards.

Susquehanna Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Chenango Forks, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, Susquehanna Valley is taking a road trip to square off against Harpursville at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Chenango Forks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
