There's no place like home for Churchill County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by an 82-62 margin over the North Valleys Panthers on Friday. The Greenwave have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Churchill County was led to victory by Barry Mitchell and Trevor Hyde. Mitchell dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten boards, while Hyde went 8 of 9 on his way to 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Calin Anderson, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds.

Churchill County was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why North Valleys lost, don't look at Joshua Collins. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 15 on his way to 23 points and three steals. Collins is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadyn Shackelford, who posted 14 points.

Churchill County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points per game. As for North Valleys, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2.

Churchill County will take on Reed in a tournament on Thursday. As for North Valleys, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-39 win against Eureka on the 21st.
