Midtown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Centennial, sneaking past 3-2.

Meanwhile, Walnut Grove faced Clarkston in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Warriors who were credited with the win.

Midtown's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Walnut Grove, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.

Midtown beat Walnut Grove 2-0 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
