Softball Recap: Civic Leadership Takes a Loss

Civic Leadership lost against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy on April 7th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles came up short against the Phoenix, falling 12-3.

Civic Leadership's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Civic Leadership will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Weaver at 3:30 p.m. on May 12. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bulkeley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Phoenix's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bulldogs have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
