True North Classical Academy came tearing into Thursday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Mourning Sharks. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

True North Classical Academy walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Mourning still got an impressive performance from Mila Besharat, who had 38 digs and three aces. Besharat is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

True North Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Mourning, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

True North Classical Academy will square off against Riviera Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mourning, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against iMater Charter on the 10th.
