Colony's game  on Saturday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Wednesday. They never let the Redington Huskies get on the board and left with  a   13-0  win. Considering the Knights have won nine matches by more than five  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Emma Minnick made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Those  seven  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and two  doubles. Those  doubles marked the first that  she has  hit this season.
 Minnick wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Alli Morrissey, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. That's the most  runs  Morrissey has posted since back in May of 2024.  Saibree Noll was another,  going 1-for-2 with two  RBI and one  run.
 Colony  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in 11 consecutive  games.
Colony's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-4-1.
 Looking ahead, Colony will head out on the road to  face off against  Ketchikan  at 12:00  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Redington, they will challenge Kenai Central at 4:00  p.m.  on May 1.
