Volleyball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss

The Howard Eagles came up short against the Southside Seahawks on Monday and fell 3-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 22-25, 25-5, 25-11.

Howard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Southside, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Howard will venture away from home to take on Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southside, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Greene Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
