Volleyball Recap: Prospect Comes Up Short

Prospect lost against Hersey back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 2-1. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-19 in the first set.

Prospect started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-14, 15-3.

Prospect's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Hersey, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-9.

Prospect didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Palatine on the 4th. As for Hersey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Crystal Lake South on the 4th.
